McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a division of Johnson & Johnson, in cooperation with the FDA, announced a voluntary recall of ALL lots that have not yet expired of certain over-the-counter children’s and infants’ liquid products in the United States and 11 other countries.
See recalled product list which includes Benadryl, Motrin and Tylenol products.
The recall was initiated because some of the products fail to meet quality standards. While the recall is not due to adverse medical events, as a precautionary measure, parents should not give these products to their children as some may contain higher concentration of an active ingredient than in specified.
